Remembering Wholeness
A Return to Your Innate Truth

Understanding Trauma and the Nervous System
We’d like to offer a gentle understanding of how trauma can affect the body—and how this healing work supports your return to balance. When we experience trauma—whether a sudden event or long-term stress—the body remembers. These memories are often stored not just in the mind, but in the nervous system, tissues, and the energy field around the body.Your autonomic nervous system is constantly scanning for cues of safety or danger. It has two main branches:The sympathetic nervous system (fight, flight, freeze): activates when we feel threatenedThe parasympathetic nervous system (rest, digest, restore): allows us to feel safe, connected, and able to healAfter trauma, the body can remain stuck in sympathetic activation—long after the threat has passed. This survival state can manifest as chronic anxiety, emotional reactivity, fatigue, tension, or a sense of disconnection. Our healing work helps your system shift out of survival and return to a parasympathetic state of regulation and calm. Through breath, energy work, and presence, we invite your body to remember that it is safe to rest, receive, and heal.________________________________________________________
How Trauma Affects the Subconscious Mind
Trauma doesn’t only affect the nervous system—it also imprints the subconscious mind, where our deepest beliefs and behavioral patterns are held. Even if we don’t consciously recall the trauma, the subconscious holds onto its emotional memory. In moments of overwhelm or perceived danger, the subconscious mind often creates protective strategies: shutting down emotions, self-abandonment, perfectionism, people-pleasing, distrust, or internalized beliefs of unworthiness or shame. These patterns may seem unrelated to the original wound, but they can quietly govern how we feel, relate, and move through the world—often keeping us in cycles of limitation or disconnection. Our sessions gently illuminate and release these imprints. As trauma energy clears, the subconscious can be re-patterned around trust, truth, and self-worth—allowing your natural essence to emerge with more ease and authenticity.________________________________________________________
